In 2023, the Kofago School of Dance and Culture (KSDC) will open its doors.  KSDC is a unique educational institution dedicated to teaching students from an awareness-based perspective. At KSDC, our focus is on grounding each student in who they are, not what they do. It's our belief that this kind of education can be transformative for our students. We believe that when students feel seen, heard, and valued for their true selves - without judgement - they can become empowered to take control of their own futures. 

KSDC recognizes the importance of providing a safe space for students to explore culture through dance and physical expression. We strive to create an environment where our students are allowed to express themselves freely without fear or judgement from others. This type of learning promotes self-awareness and understanding of one's own identity while also creating a sense of community with other members of the school's student body as well as with faculty members who are passionate about helping them reach their goals. 

We understand that every individual has different needs when it comes to learning, so we provide various forms of instruction tailored to meet those needs. From traditional classroom instruction to more hands-on activities such as demonstrations and field trips, our faculty utilizes a variety of approaches in order to ensure that everyone receives the support they need in order to succeed at KSDC. 

At KSDC, we believe that education should be accessible and affordable for everyone regardless of their background or financial situation. Our goal is to provide an environment where our students feel seen, heard, valued and supported while they explore their unique cultural identities through dance and movement.
